Swiss Live Talents


A national event that takes place every two years and brings together artists, media, concert organizers, and a jury of music professionals from all over the world.

To participate in the Swiss Live Talents event as a nominee or winning an award means acquiring national awareness, but also the opportunity to perform in renowned festivals and clubs in Switzerland and abroad.

FONDATION SUISA supports this project with the financing of awards and the fund to support a promising artistic idea.

Winner Swiss Live Talents CREATIVE Award 2019

At the Swiss Live Talent Gala in Bern, the Swiss Live Talents CREATIVE Award 2019, granted by FONDATION SUISA, was given to the Berner hip hop artist Jay Jules.

In the shape of a "Music Marathon (MUMA)", the fourth edition of Swiss Live Talents transformed the city of Berne for one weekend into the main vein of the Swiss music scene.

On Friday and Saturday, 15 and 16 November 2019, 35 nominated bands with 28 showcases demonstrated their skills on 5 Bernese club stages and presented the diversity and vitality of Swiss music in front of a jury of national and international experts.

During the Swiss Live Talents Awards-Gala on Saturday, the Bern-based hip hop artist JAY JULES received the Swiss Live Talents CREATIVE Award - a distinction with a value of CHF 10.000.- granted by FONDATION SUISA.
